Grumpy Nook® is a cosy brand founded and still run by Maisah (pronounced may-sa).

Why "Grumpy" Nook?
Growing up, grumpy characters from my favourite programs and movies were always the ones I absolutely loved! And I honestly believe, that without those amazing little grumpy creatures, no movie, tv show, book or cartoon could've been a success without a bit of sass and grump!

As I grew older, I became known as the quiet / grumpy one of 5 sisters - and it couldn't have been a more fitting description!

And so, 20 years later when I started my business in the corner of my bedroom, it was a no brainer to call my brand Grumpy Nook® 

Brand Focus:
Here at the Nook, every product is tested for 3 things: Quality, Design, and Customer Experience satisfaction. If any product does not tick off all 3, the idea is either scrapped or worked on until we've nailed it.

Quality:
Quality is very important to us. We want our brand to have your back every time - because you can rely on us to really deliver for all your gifting needs!
Whether that's a mystery gift box or a single product, we promise that our products are always to the highest standards. Read through our reviews and see how customers are comparing us to be far better than big brands!

Design:
Whats a product without design? It may be wise-business to put in less time to make more profits, but that doesn't sit well with our ethos. Many designs do take a backseat and never go into production simply because we are not 100% happy with it. We don't work for the sake of working, or for the sake of making money. We work because this is our dream, and dreams are worth the extra hour and effort!

Customer Experience:
We value our customers way too much - we think its unfair to go cliche on this, because we really do go the extra mile. Grumpy Nook is a experience from start to finish.
Every order is packed with luxurious paper inside, products are given extra protection where needed, and even the shipping box is carefully packaged to protect it from that "accidental puddle-drop" by the postman.

You might find some plastic in your packaging - most of this is usually reused. And we always advise our customers to reuse and recycle as much as possible! 

Testing our own products:
We test all our products. And every time we improve our packaging we send out multiple test orders to ourselves to really see what our customers will experience after a delivery.

We have even had orders returned to us after 18 months (after being lost in transit), and they have always come back absolutely immaculate! No damage, and very very minimal movement!
