Shipping Policy

Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and UK public holidays). Please note that processing times are estimates and may vary during busy periods. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Shipping Methods
All orders are shipped using tracked services only. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated below.

UK Shipping

  • Tracked shipping: £4.99 flat rate

International Shipping
We ship worldwide, including the EU and United States.

  • International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

  • All international orders are shipped with tracking.

Customs, Tariffs & Import Fees

  • For US orders, the “Duties” displayed at checkout are Tariffs fees we collect upfront. This covers standard import duties for your order.

  • These Tariffs fees do not include any additional fees, taxes, or charges that may be applied by US customs or local authorities upon delivery.

  • For EU and other international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or handling fees required by their country.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or for any additional fees charged by authorities.

Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination and customs processing. We are not responsible for delays once an order has been handed over to the courier.


Refund & Return Policy

Returns
If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, in line with consumer protection regulations.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition

  • Items must be returned in original packaging where possible

To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@grumpynook.com within 14 days of delivery, including your order number.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • Bank or payment provider processing times may vary.

Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, including photos where possible. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

International Returns
International customers are responsible for return shipping and any customs fees incurred when returning an item. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for lost returns.
